'What if…?': The second episode home an emotional dedication to Chadwick Boseman
The chapter titled What if ... T'Challa became Star-Lord? is now available on Disney +.
What would happen if…? is the series that asks the same question if the events that occurred and known of the Marvel Cinematic Universe had occurred in a very different way, thus realizing a parallel reality.
In the first episode, we could see what would have happened if Peggy Carter had been Captain America and not Steve Rogers. In the second chapter, entitled 'What would happen if ... T'Challa became Star-Lord?' we see how the well-known Black Panther effectively becomes Star-Lord, the original role of Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy.

In this multiverse, T’Challa is abducted by the Raiders, becoming one of the most famous outlaws in the galaxy, literally. Not like Peter Quill. Everything is different here, even Thanos is an ally thanks to Black Panther talking to him and taking the idea of doing genocide out of his head.
This chapter is also special because it is Chadwick Boseman's last work before he died of colon cancer. The actor voices T’Challa, his character also in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so at the end of the episode we can see an emotional dedication to Boseman:
Dedicated to our friend, our inspiration, and our hero. Chadwick Boseman

WAKANDA FOREVER
After his death, Marvel wanted to make it clear that the sequel to Black Panther; Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will not use CGI to be able to introduce Boseman in the film, unlike what was done in Star Wars with Carrie Fisher.
In addition, the film will have a spin-off series for Disney + set in the Kingdom of Wakanda. Ryan Coogler, director of both films, will be in charge of this ambitious project of which very few details are still known.
