Following confirmation that the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer would make its debut during the Sony Pictures panel at the annual CinemaCon event, a new rumor suggests the footage will be online in the next few hours.
According to an unconfirmed report, the first video of No Way Home could arrive online on Monday 23 August or at the latest Tuesday 24 August: the Sony Pictures event at CinemaCon is scheduled for tomorrow, but according to rumors we already have some details on what the trailer might include, such as an exchange between Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2's Doctor Octopus
Popular scooper Nick "Professor Hulk" Santos of ThatHashtagShow reports a rumor to be taken "with a grain of salt" that the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released online on Monday 23 August or Tuesday 24 August. Santos further states that the trailer will end with the first meeting between Spider-Man and Doc Ock, with the latter saying, "Hi, Peter".
It was previously reported that the trailer would make its debut as an attendee exclusive at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the convention where Sony unveiled the Spider-Man: Homecoming logo and title in 2016. August, specified that Sony would not publish the Spider-Man trailer online, but the decision to have it officially debut online could also be read as a precaution against any leaks.
