Jurassic World: Dominion: This actor may not return in the third installment - Hollywood News
The film, directed by Colin Trevorrow, stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
The cameras have re-launched on the film set of Jurassic World: Dominion after the stop by the coronavirus crisis. We're talking about Jake Johnson, who brought Lowery Curtis to life in the first installment of the Jurassic World franchise and who has been caused by scheduling problems. "I was ready to go and then this pandemic came and everything was delayed and the agenda was re-organized," the interpreter in Collider says when asked if he had already shot his scenes in Jurassic World: Dominion. "And we're trying to fix it because obviously I'm in Stumptown and we're going to go into season two. So we're organizing the agenda and seeing if I can get the dates to fit. But Colin Trevorrow, the director, is a good friend. We're old friends and we've been talking a lot and we're trying to make it work," he adds.

Whether or not he gets the actor to shoot his scenes for Jurassic World: Dominion, Johnson has an idea of what his character's return might look like. However, it was rejected by the filmmaker. "I presented the idea that he now has a long ponytail and a military jacket and is suffering from post-traumatic stress because of what he has experienced. He wanted glasses from the '70s and he was always smoking a cigarette, but Colin said no, so we'll see what happens," he explains.
Those who will be back at Jurassic World: Dominion, besides Pratt and Howard, are Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill and Laura Dern. These three actors will once again step into the skin, respectively, of the characters from the original trilogy Ian Malcolm, Alan Grant, and Ellie Sattler. Isabella Sermon, DeWanda Wise, Justice Smith, and Daniella Pineda are also part of the cast.
